KEY TECHNOLOGIES | |
---|---|
Trinity X Mounting Two offset mounting points in the front and one in the rear of the boots create a scalene "power triangle" that provides a stable striding base while enabling lightning-quick response. The two front mounting points are located on the frame's front "wings" outside the wheel well, which not only adds to response capability but also allows the wheels to be recessed into the boot, enabling a lower center of gravity, as well as larger wheels. The combination of the lower center of gravity, larger wheels, and unsurpassed control, make the Trinity frames the frames of the future. |

3D Casted Frames Perfectly shaped around the wheels to optimize the space. 3D construction enhances stiffness and power transfer to offer characteristics similar to those found in CNC machined frames. |

Customer Reviews
Best frames I've used, and affordableBeen using these for about 2 years at this point and they've taken all the abuse I've doled out (nonexistent maintenance in New England winter on salted roads). Anyways these are the frames I will be sticking with for the foreseeable future, love the short frame agility paired with the 3x125mm speed
April 11th Review UpdateAfter skating for several sessions and rotating the wheels, the frames have loosened up and the wheels are spinning fine. So to be fair, I'm upping the review score. It would help if they mentioned that new frames need to break in.
April 10th: Not happy with 243 4x80
For a more nimble and freestyle setup, I bought a 243 4x80 to replace the 275 4x90 frames that came with my Powerslide skates. The tolerances of the frame were off. 5 wheels fit fine. 3 of the wheels would barely install because the frame was so tight. Once installed they barely would spin. It wasn't the wheels, I tried wheels from powerslide and two other brands with the same result. Powerslide needs to improve its quality control.
Versatile Trinity FramesI'm new to the Powerslide brand, and now I'm a huge fan of their ingeniously-designed Trinity frames. The front mounting screws on either side of the frame make access and adjustments easy - no wheels to remove! I also love the fact that the same heel brake that came with my 4x80 frames also fits my new 3x100 frame & 100mm wheels perfectly. With my other skates (another brand), I have to have a different brake for different frames & wheel sizes. The brake design is great because if you want to add or remove it, you don't have to remove the rear wheel or axle. The two screws that secure it to the rear wheel go INSIDE the interior-threaded axle! The other two screws go into small holes on the frame itself. The ability to adjust the brake pad up or down is also a huge plus for me.
I find the balance of these frames to be superior for dealing with my ankle pronation. Now I can achieve perfect alignment with no aftermarket footbeds, and just the smallest amount of inward frame adjustment. The frames are very lightweight, and this 3x100 version didn't need a break-in period as my 4x80's did. Finally, I love that only ONE skate tool fits all the screws. My other skates need one size for the wheels, and another for the frame screws. Someone really put a lot of thought into designing Powerslide's Trinity frames, and it shows.
